Dr Blackstone enjoys all areas of general practice with a particular interest in preventative health, diabetes, chronic disease and skin cancer management.
Dr Blackstone is an accredited doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia and is able to provide skin checks and procedures.

Dr Chew graduated from the University of Queensland Medical School in 1984.  She has worked as a general practitioner for over 30 years in a variety of practice settings around Australia.  Dr Chew has achieved the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and attained a Masters of Medicine in General Practice.  Dr Chew enjoys the diversity of general practice and is proficient in managing the many and varied presentations encountered in clinical practice.

Dr Marjolein de Vries moved to Australia in 2006 after finishing her GP specialist training at the Maastricht University in the Netherlands. After working in Morayfield for almost 10 years, she started working at Ningi Doctors in January 2016.  She enjoys the variety of general practice and working in a group practice.

Dr. Grace Polong graduated from Griffith University in 2013, and trained mainly at The Princess Alexandra Hospital and QEII Hospital. She loves spending time with her family and friends, loves good food, is secretly a fitness freak (when she finds time) and really enjoys seeing the full variety of patients that General Practice has to offer.

Areas of interest:

Dr Meg Ryan is a graduate of Flinders University and has experience in general and emergency medicine, general surgery, paediatrics, palliative care, and psychiatry.  Dr Ryan is currently working toward Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is also completing a Masters in Medicine.
Dr Ryan enjoys all areas of general practice and working with her patients to optimise their health.  

Areas of interest:

Dr Dao-Xuan Vo has been working at the Ningi Doctors since 2011. She enjoys all aspects of Family Medicine. She also has a particular interest in Chronic Disease, Women’s Health and Skin Cancer. Dr Vo has extended skills in Skin Cancer surgery and performs it to the best of her patient’s benefit.

Dr David Scholtz commenced his GP training at Ningi Doctors in 2026. He pursued General Practice for its variety, continuity of care, and rewarding relationships with patients and communities. Born in South Africa and raised in New Zealand where he completed his medical degree, Dr Scholtz is fluent in both English and Afrikaans. He has worked across many specialties in different hospitals on both sides of the Tasman over 6 years with extensive experience in Clinical Research, Surgery, Urology, Men’s Health and Emergency Medicine. He is a firm believer of patient centred care, shared decision making and education. Outside of work Dr Scholtz enjoys playing competitive cricket and going fishing.

Will Gold (Dietician)

Will Gold is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, permaculture consultant and fourth generation veteran of the Australian Defence Force (ADF). Will graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2015, with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics (Hons) and his passion lies in educating clients about where their food comes from and how whole foods benefit both physical and mental health.

Will first joined the Royal Australian Air Force in 2002, serving 6 years as an Aircraft Mechanical Engineer. Following his career in defence, Will traveled extensively overseas working as both a marine engineer and as a kitesurfing instructor.

Since completing Uni in 2015 Will has worked across Australia as a community Dietitian, having worked in remote Western Australia with Aboriginal communities across the Kimberley Region, then returning to South East Queensland, again working with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities for a further 3.5 years.

In 2022 Will had the opportunity to follow his passion in permaculture, spending 18 months working on a regenerative farm in the Noosa hinterland, whilst studying to become a permaculture consultant and educator. Will now combines his lived-experience in the ADF with his extensive Dietetic knowledge and permaculture skills to support and educate Veterans to improve their mental wellbeing through multi-day permaculture and nutrition workshops.

Will now resides with his young family living in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. He enjoys spending most weekends with his family at the beach, surfing & kitesurfing, as well as camping. If he is not at the beach he is usually in the garden with his young kids teaching them to grow food at home.”
